This year for something new & fun we added an art contest. Children at Claymont Elementary were invited to submit artwork which will be included on this year's t-shirt. We had lots of great entries, and the winner's artwork is below. I've included a few of the 'best of the rest' too! The winner, Lauren Becker, will receive a $ 50 US Savings Bond at the race awards ceremony.
The race committee liked the bright colors and minimal lines of this entry; and the message was on point. Simple, yet modern & cheery. Running is fun. Welcome to Claymont.
